Platform Rules, API Usage & Subscription Guidelines
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the GoldSilver Rate website, Android application, homescreen widgets, or developer REST APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations in the Republic of India.
2. User Tiers & Feature Restrictions
GoldSilver Rate provides different feature access tiers:
- Guest Mode: Unauthenticated users can view live gold/silver rates, switch between 20+ Indian cities, and use the jewellery calculator. Guests may NOT store server alerts, save portfolio holdings, or receive push notifications.
- Pro Member: Authenticated users can configure up to 5 price alerts, receive daily morning summaries, and access 90-day historical chart data.
- VIP Trader / Business: High-volume users receive unlimited multi-city alerts, dedicated webhook dispatch, and access to developer API keys.
3. Developer API Fair Use Policy
API keys issued through the Web Admin or Developer Portal are strictly confidential. Keyholders must not publicly expose secrets in client-side code repositories. Automated rate limits (up to 1,000 requests/minute depending on tier) apply. We reserve the right to revoke keys involved in abusive scraping or denial-of-service patterns.
4. Intellectual Property
The visual interfaces, widget layouts, rate calculation algorithms, and branding of SonaRate India are the intellectual property of SonaRate. Commodity raw spot feeds are sourced from international exchanges under benchmark fair-use reporting principles.
5. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
